On November 24,2022, Prof. Yongbin Li from Capital Normal University had been invited to give a online lecture onConcept and Horizon. Being the third lecture of the series of "Postgraduate Paper Writing Promotion Plan", this lecture is organized bythe School of History and Civilization,Shaanxi Normal University,and co-organized by Institute for Medicine and Civilization,aiming to further improve the graduate students' academic writing ability.

In the lecture, Prof.Li Yongbin gave students useful guidance on the basic skills in paper-writing,such as topic selection and historical data collection.Taking the concepts of "East" and "West" as examples, he then illustrated the change and development of concepts in different historical contexts, and the relationship between concepts and the horizon.

Prof.Li Huacheng made asummary, emphasizing the importance of knowledge accumulation inacademic research and the necessity of careful revision in the writing process.
