On June 17, Forum of Medical Social History 19 was held in Room 102, Building 3, Chang’an Campus. Dr. Hou Jianghua from School of Philosophy and Government, Shaanxi Normal University gave a lecture named Understandings of China Rural Areas: Exploration of Research Units and Research Paradigm. This lecture was hosted by Prof. Li Huacheng, and more than 50 students attended the lecture.

The students were greatly inspired by Dr. Hou’s rich oral history experience. As one of the three lectures on oral history, this lecture improve students’ academic ability for the practice in summer holiday.
