Dr. Ru-dong is a staff of Shaanxi Normal University.

Anthropology, a new subject born in the West, is the study of various aspects of humans within past and present societies. During the development of western social science, anthropology were interacted with other disciplines, but still keep its own characteristics. This lecture will briefly introduce the theory and methods of anthropology, and discusses its details in historical context, so as to show the basic features of anthropology.
