On July 31, 2017, Dr.Huacheng Li’s article Medical Factors in Social History of Medicine was published in Guang Ming Daily in the 14th Edition (Theory). Dr. Li emphasized in this article that “medical factors” should given due attention as the “historical factors” when doing medical history research. Recently, problems on health, disease and medicine have been one of the hot topics in historical research, however, due to the academic factors of this field, researchers haven’t reach an agreement in many theoretical problems. Dr. Li has spent time and energy on this problems in recent years, and this article is another important achievement after Content and Research Trend of Medical Social History published in Historical Research in 2014.
