On June 18, 2017, Forum of Medical Social History 20 & "Windrunner" Plan Campus Talk was held successfully in Yanta Campus. Several students who were interested in the "Windrunner" plan or social history of medicine research attended the lecture. The lecture was hosted by Miss Jiang Peijun, leader of "Windrunner" team, and was given by Prof. Li Huacheng, the executive director of Research Center for Social History of Medicine.

Prof. Li explained the notion of “social history of medicine” from dimension of medicine, humanity and the history of medicine since medicine has close relationship with human’s history. Then, he introduced the details of “Windrunner” Plan to audience. As a field research, this project will let investigators to record the history of rural doctors, especially barefoot doctors in special period, and collect materials for the future research.
